Bret Tesman, Founder & Managing Director, Integrated Marketing Services: As the co-founder of Blue Punch Media, Bret oversees agency public relations and integrated marketing initiatives. His primary experience lies in the consumer, business-to-business, and corporate arenas, managing programs for some of the most notable and emerging businesses within the lifestyle, hospitality, entertainment, media, sports, technology and financial services industries.
Bret has created and executed campaigns for global corporations, legal and higher education sectors, leading restaurants and hotels, professional athletes, music artists, media and entertainment companies, financial services firms, luxury brands, cultural institutions, not-for-profit organizations and many more.
In addition to his day-to-day initiatives at Blue Punch Media, Bret holds the title of assistant professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology SUNY in New York City. There he teaches a variety of courses in public relations. Bret also taught a New York University, Fordham University, Baruch College, New York Institute of Technology, Hofstra University and St. Johns University on the undergratuate to the executive MBA level.
Before launching Blue Punch Media, Bret worked at Interpublic Group agencies, Rogers & Cowan and Weber Shandwick as well as other notable agencies and in-house marketing and communication departments. Bret holds a masters degree from New York University in mass communication as well as a bachelors degree in marketing.
Jean Cohen, Senior Vice President: Jean offers a broad background in merging traditional media and internet strategies into creative, fully-optimized campaigns. She leverages corporate agency experience at Howard J. Rubenstein Associates, NW Ayer, B/W/R (the entertainment subsidiary of Ogilvy & Mather) and J. Walter Thompson, where she handled diverse clients including DeBeers, AT&T, General Motors, Pepsi Sports Marketing, Proctor & Gamble Broadcasting, Wolverine Worldwide and Ritz-Carlton Hotels.
Building competencies across industry categories, Jean brings high-level executive expertise in branding and launching integrated marketing campaigns in fields encompassing technology, medicine, financial and legal services, education, arts and entertainment, fashion and hospitality. Jean is a graduate of Tufts University and holds a masters degree from Brown University.
